Chair
Hey everyone! My name is Laura, and I’m the chairwoman of RSBV 2026/2027. I am 25 years old, from the Netherlands, and currently pursuing two Master’s degrees: one in Business Information Management and one in Arts, Culture and Society. As Chair, I serve as the primary point of contact for the association and oversee the board’s overall operations. I first discovered boxing during my exchange semester in Tokyo, where I joined the university’s boxing association. I quickly fell in love with the sport and after returning to Rotterdam I decided to continue my journey with RSBV Erasmus Boxing. One of my favorite aspects of RSBV is that everyone, from complete beginners to experienced fighters, can train together in a welcoming environment. As Chair and together with my fellow board members, I hope to further strengthen our community and continue fostering an environment where members of all levels can challenge themselves, improve their skills, and enjoy the sport together. I hope to meet many of you, so don’t hesitate to come and say hello or ask me any questions!

Hi everyone! My name is Matei, and I’ll be the Marketing Executive of RSBV for 2026–2027. I’m from Romania and currently in my second year of IBA. Unlike some of the more experienced boxers in the club, I had no boxing experience before joining RSBV in my first year, but I quickly fell in love with both the sport and the community around it. There’s just something about that euphoric feeling after a good boxing session that keeps you coming back! Outside of boxing, I’m passionate about photography, so taking care of the marketing and social media side of RSBV feels like a great fit. I’m looking forward to capturing and sharing what makes this club such a great community!

My name is Alia and I’ll be the Secretary of RSBV for 2026–27. I’m a second-year student at Erasmus University, where I study Management of International Social Challenges. Before coming to Rotterdam, I trained in ITF Taekwondo for many years and only recently started boxing. After moving to the Netherlands, my best decision was to join RSBV—I was immediately welcomed by an amazingly friendly and supportive group of people and now I want to help make others feel welcomed, too. Whether you’ve never put on boxing gloves before or already have years of experience, there’s really a place for everyone here! As Secretary, I try to make RSBV an even better place for all of our members. So if you ever have questions or need help with anything, don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to meeting you all at training and events!

Hi everyone! My name is Vladimir and I am a treasurer of RSBV for 2026-27. I’m in the second year of IBEB. I have been boxing for around 8 years, I used to compete and was a champion of Latvia. Once I moved to Netherlands, I decided to join RSBV and was pleasantly surprised by super welcoming, open and very friendly atmosphere, with boxers ranging from complete beginners, to advanced fighters who compete. Now that I am a part of the board, I am happy to help you with anything - from the boxing technique to Sport Pass membership, purchase of boxing equipment or anything else!
