Chair

Hi, I’m Yannick, and I’ll be fulfilling the role of chairman for the ’25–’26 academic year. Within the board, I’ll mainly be responsible for maintaining contact between RSBV and Erasmus Sport, as well as overseeing the board’s overall operations. A bit about me: I’m 21 years old and proudly born and raised in the Netherlands. I grew up in a small countryside village and moved to Rotterdam about two years ago to live in a student dorm. My first steps into boxing started when my older brother got into it — I would try it out in our backyard with a punching bag (which was twice my size). For years I practiced on and off, until I discovered the welcoming boxing community at Erasmus University. That’s when I started training seriously again, and one thing led to another… now I’m here as chairman! I’m really looking forward to meeting many of you in the coming year. Feel free to walk up to me for a chat if you see me around campus (although I’ll admit, you might not catch me there too often 😇). See you soon!

Hey there! I’m Viri, and I’m the Treasurer of RSBV Erasmus Boxing for the academic year 2025–26. I’m from Hungary and currently a second-year IBA student. I started boxing in my first year, and I immediately fell in love with the intense and competitive nature of the sport — not to mention the extremely warm community that welcomed me from the start. Within just one year, RSBV became a big part of my life, and I decided to take my involvement to the next level by applying for the Treasurer position. Now that I’m part of the board, I’m happy to help you with anything you might need — feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions regarding the Sport Pass, membership, boxing gear, or anything else!
